Job description
Do you have a passion for bringing productions to life with the magic of light? Are you a whizz at operating lighting equipment? If so, then we want you on our team!
Peacock Theatre, a renowned London venue in the heart of London showcasing several productions such as The Snowman. We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Theatre Technician with a lighting bias to join our dynamic team.
We are a receiving theatre with varied seasons, including both artistic and commercial activities. You would be required to have a flexible approach to working patterns, and ideally will have experience of working with either repertory or touring companies.
You will have the following skills and experience:
- Experience of working with large-scale productions
- Practical person with excellent knowledge of theatres/venue technical requirements
- A demonstrable knowledge of industry health and safety
- Ability to remain calm under pressure will be valuable in this role
- Knowledge, skills and experience to ‘intermediate’ level in lighting and ‘standard’ level in sound are essential to this role.
