SWE Theatre Technician (Sound Bias)

Job description

Sadler's Wells East is our new and exciting venue opening soon, offering a fantastic opportunity for a Sound Technician to be part of its first team.

We are a receiving theatre with varied seasons, including both artistic and commercial activities.

You would be required to have a flexible approach to working patterns, and ideally will have experience of working with either repertory or touring companies.

Are you a Sound Technician in a live performance environment? Do you have a deep knowledge of audio engineering principles, equipment, and software? Do you have a passion for contemporary dance or theatre or music? If so, then this is the role for you!

You will have the following skills and experience:

  • Knowledge, skills and experience to an advanced level in sound and electrical theory
  • Experience of working with large-scale opera, dance or ballet
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting sound equipment
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure
