Learning Support Mentor, Academy Breakin' Convention

Job description

Are you passionate about hip hop? Do you have experience working within education or the arts? Do you have an interest in supporting young people on their creative journey? If yes, this could be the role for you!

Academy Breakin’ Convention (ABC) is the UK’s first Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performance and Production Arts focused on Hip Hop Theatre. The course is for 16-19 years (up to 25 years with an Education Health Care Plan) and is one of the major initiatives at our new venue, Sadler’s Wells East in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, in Stratford.

Join us as a Learning Support Mentor and be part of something groundbreaking with our first cohort of students starting in September 2025! In this role you will work during term-time, in collaboration with the ABC team and play a crucial part in ensuring that all learners have a fully supported and positive experience throughout their 2-year course. You will support the education, wellbeing, and self-development of our students through a range of duties including in-class support, pastoral support and involvement in the wider activities of ABC.
