Kitchen Assistant
Job description
Are you someone who enjoys supporting a team and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? As a Kitchen Assistant, you'll play a key role in helping the kitchen operate efficiently and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation. From assisting with food prep to ensuring the kitchen stays safe and tidy, you’ll contribute to a well-functioning kitchen environment. Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you’ll help ensure everything is ready for service and assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen space.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience of working within a busy kitchen, catering unit, a quality contract caterer or in a hotel within food production
- An understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene
- The ability to work on own initiative and prioritise work schedules
- Excellent team player
