Head of Venue Operations

We are looking for a Head of Venue Operations. You will be the key contact for day to day running of all Sadler’s Wells venue, with an initial focus on our newest venue, Sadler’s Wells East. You will be responsible for ensuring our buildings are set up and ready to welcome audiences, visitors and colleagues in a safe, secure and appealing ways.

You would be required to have a flexible approach to working patterns and will oversee daily operations and logistics, including security, health and safety, environment and sustainability, and venue operations. This role requires an on-site presence and a willingness and availability to work evenings and weekends as required.

You will have the following skills and experience

  • Significant experience in an operational management position in a theatre / arts / heritage venue.
  • Experience of Duty Management or being a Manager on Duty.
  • Relevant H&S qualification to provide leadership in compliance e.g., IOSH managing safely, NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent.
