Head of Estates and Facilities
Job description
If you’re thinking to yourself when should I make the jump to a Head of Estates and Facilities role then the answer is right now. If you're at a stage of your career where you are ready to make that leap into a head of role or you are looking for a new challenge, you won't get a better opportunity than this.
We’re recruiting for the new role of Head of Estates and Facilities. You would be responsible for the whole estate, 3 sites in London - and a bulk of this role is strategic, but there will be the need to roll those hypothetical sleeves up and get involved. You will have a team of c.30 in total across the various facilities areas.
The main duties will be the operational and strategic delivery of hard and soft services (with more of a focus on the hard services side), there is some contractor management, for those specialist needs, and some PPM and reactive maintenance to manage. But the real fun stuff is the future strategic planning; being an integral part of an FM restructure, looking at the resources being used, how the operations run and what can be done differently and better, and aligning it with the growth that we are expecting.
Having a background in FM is a given, together with the knowledge and experience of hard services. This is a people role, so you will need to be able to demonstrate your experience of managing and motivating a team, tip-top communication is a must.
We welcome all applications by 11:59pm GMT by 31 July 2024.
